I like this idea, but I think we should use the embassies for this
purpose, i.e. making the "Main embassy" on
www.wikipedia.org the "English
embassy" and creating on meta wikipedia a "United Wikipedias Council" or
something like that with links to all local embassies. The council and its
subpages could serve as a discussion space and results and current events
could be posted in local language in the embassies.
BTW, who is the english ambassador?
Another thing: I created a [[requested pictures]] page on the German
wikipedia and linked it together with the English. I also put a list of user
galleries on it (I couldn't find the photographer's project in the English)
This is intended to serve especially the Wikipedias in other languages (as
the pictures are already included in our articles). Maybe we could create
a ring for exchanging pictures?
