Theres a little discussion on meta "Lingusitic
democracy in a multilingual project" --Anthere and I
have noted this problem before --to some extent there
is a defacto-acceptance of English as wiki-lingua
franca, but there has been little attention given to
providing other languages the leadership and
representative access that they need in feeling like
they are too shaping the wikipedia. Its like trickle
down government, and no trickle up whatsoever, if you
dont write English.
