One request, not to reply to daily or weekly digests without changing subject as it becomes difficult to reader to identify in reply to which thread the message is posted.

Secondly, it might be a problem with Lenovo’s Gujarati or Unicode font rendering as I am using android 4.1.2 and can read Gujarati fonts without any issue. This is on LG phone, I have access to Samsung and Sony Ericsson phone running on Android 4.1 as well and never faced any issue on them either.

Furthermore, this means even Gujarati Wikipedia’s mobile website is shown quite properly on my mobile, there is nothing wrong with it.

There is some problem with Gujarati Wikipedia's mobile website. Try the computer or normal website. I had the similar problem but I can see everything normally on main website but still can't see properly on mobile website.

I have bought new Lenovo P780 with Android 4.2.1 OS.

I can read Hindi fonts very well but it shows blank when opening any Gujarati content on internet as well as facebook and other apps where Gujarati(Unicode) is typed.

How to resolve this issue, if anybody can help.

NOTE: I HAVE NO 'ROOT' PERMISSION ON THE DEVICE.

Looks like Lenovo has not properly used Android in their phone. As per Android specifications as mentioned here - http://www.android.com/about/jelly-bean/ your phone must support. There is a language enabler app in Google Play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wanam) which may solve the problem but you need to root the device.
