Hi

Just a wee reminder that there is a Wiki meetup this Saturday in Glasgow (30th April).

ALL WELCOME.

I’ll be outside Sharmanka at 2.45pm (inside the reception area if it is raining) at 103 Trongate so I can meet you there and go inside for the 3pm show.  I’ll have a Wikimedia bag & Wiki booklets with me so you can recognise me.

Only £5 for the show but please bring cash to pay for your ticket as that is what the Sharmanka exhibition have requested.

If you don’t fancy Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre  then we have a table booked at 4.15pm round the corner at Mono cafebar at 12 Kings Court.

So come along for coffee/tea/beer/wine/cider/food (delete as appropriate) + relaxing weekend Wiki discussion and social chitchat among like-minded folk who are interested in finding out more about Wikipedia.

Not sure about the venue this time round? Why not swing by to suggest an alternative venue for the next meet? Happy to roam throughout Glasgow as long as it is bright, light & comfy with wifi.

The CCA? The Belle? So many good venues BUT you can help shape where we pop into next time round. Looking to do this every 2 months so your input would be appreciated.

Hopefully see you at Mono & Sharmanka this time anyway!

Oh, by the way, please don’t forget that there is also an Edinburgh meetup next week on Thursday 5th May too.

Come for the Plague exhibition and some convivial chat in the National Library of Scotland café (we’ve been promised one of the boardrooms if we can get more than few bods to turn up.  Gotta say, I’m curious to see what the inner sanctum of the NLS looks like.)

Cheers

Ewan
