pdf-version of the Wikipedia for Schools User Manual which Limoke sent us on
this list. However, all I got was an error msg:
"The upload directory (public) is not writable by the webserver."
When writing in the wiki-edit pane, the screenshots of the document
disappear. Anyone more computer-savvy than me able to help?

Good job Oscar. I don't know if there is any need of printing, since it
should be packaged in soft copy together with the other software in the DVD
suite. However, if we are going to use it to give tutorials then printing is
necessary.

Just saw on the community portal
(http://www.wikimedia.or.ke/Wikimedia_Kenya:Community_portal) that Samson
has noted on Feb 9th already that upload functionality is not working.
Anyone able to fix that?

Hi BT. The only people to help us here are Asaf or Manuel. I have tried
uploads in Wikimedia Kenya before (even photos) but it seems the page is set
such that it does not support uploads. The only way out seems to be
uploading it to Commons, I don't know if that is a good idea

ok BT if it is a requirement that the document you wanto download is to allow for editing, then you should opt for a different format(maybe .doc, .docx....), because pdf is read-only
