Hi.<div><br></div><div>I really enjoyed our meeting with Eric too.  He&#39;s a great guy, seems to really &quot;get&quot; what we are about, and is genuinely interested in helping.  Do try to set up a meeting with him -- maybe invite him to your next Editing Saturday?  That way you can also demonstrate editing a little.</div>

<div><br></div><div>Many established chapters still don&#39;t have such a good contact in major media, so you should count yourselves lucky!  As soon as you have something big to announce, let Eric know at least a week in advance and he should be able to arrange good coverage.</div>

<div><br></div><div>WMKE&#39;s next announcements, as far as I can tell, would be:</div><div><br></div><div>1. Wikipedia Takes Nairobi -- announcing the beginning of the project.  Possibly also the results, if impressive.</div>

<div>2. Incorporation of Wikimedia Kenya -- the NGO registration itself doesn&#39;t interest anyone, but it would be the &quot;hook&quot; needed to make it a &quot;news&quot; item, and you should use that opportunity to discuss WMKE&#39;s plans -- talk about the offline project, about our vision, about future projects, invite people to the next Editing Saturday, etc.</div>

<div>3. Schools project (offline) -- when we have the Kenya-specific ZIM file ready (this is up to you guys!  Who is taking charge of this?), we can do some more planning and prepare for re-launching the schools project on a larger scale (with a WMF grant for travel expenses etc.)</div>
