desired username and e-mail address is also good, then the wiki will
create you a temporary (secret) password and send it to you by mail.

Hi guys,

So just an update of what I've been upto regarding this so far.

Strathmore university has already confirmed to have Asaf give a talk to their students. I met with our faculty manager and he's also interested in meeting us to lay grounds for future collaborations with Wikimedia.

As for Nairobi university and Nairobits college, I'm waiting to get confirmation from them this week.

Oscar also got in touch with KU and seems like they'll be on holiday during Asaf's visit. I'm hoping we could still have a meetup with their admin though.

I'm also looking into getting in contact with the Ministries of Education and Information Technology as well as with the ICT Board for possible meetups.

I think that's it. At least for know.

Regards,
Alex.

I was of the idea we loop in Egerton university now that they have an
IT club which also keenly supports open source stuff, but sadly they
are on their long holidays.

Cheers.

The problem is not with the you, most WMKE may not do a post-1800
meeting. The travel logistics in Nairobi may not allow most of us to
attend the meeting.I suggest we do a daytime meeting at some other
venue? The August memorial Park in the City Center? However they charge
a small fee.The iHub facility is free of charge for scheduled meetings
subject to availability and booking.

Our Contact at KU(Dr.Martin Njoroge) earlier on told me that our vsist

a different thread and I hope we will be able to have a chat with him.
I would be finding the contacts of the Director of e-learning of JKUAT
