Those are some bizarre allegations. CIS-A2K supports the work of the Wikimedia community and is a Wikimedia affiliate. When there are existing channels to communicate, namely Wikimedia India mailing list and several Indian language/city-based mailing lists that are moderated by representatives from the community, why should CIS create a new list? Isn't that the opposite of being a catalyst programme?

I'd strongly suggest to even read about the Women's History Month on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women's_History_Month) before asking who "decided". Wikimedia communities "decide" together. Also, what exactly is the issue here?

Lastly, how could CIS staff censor your posts to a list that they don't moderate? This list is moderated by volunteers who are Wikipedians like you and me.

For full clarification, I am a Wikimedian and I was a part of CIS-A2K from 2012-2016 but don't a formal relation any more. Like many others, I am also critical of their work as any Wikimedian should be.

It seems the interest of CIS-A2K and that of other Wikimedians do not coincide.
Surely this is a Wikimedia-India mailing list and not a CIS-A2K mailing list ?.
For eg. who has decided that .. We already know that March month is known as Women’s month.

I am especially upset that CIS people are censoring my postings to the mailing list

Hello all,

Hope you are doing well. Glad to meet you again and appreciate your involvement in the Wikimedia movement. We already know that March month is known as Women’s month. A lot of campaigns or events are going on to celebrate the month. For the same purpose, CIS-A2K and Commons Photographers User Group (CPUG) have planned an online activity for March.
