I'd recommend we try to organize a relatively regular monthly meet; not
everybody's going to be able to make it every time, so making them more
frequent and with more warning should make it easier to get something
going for most people most of the time. :)
As someone nearing one year on Wikipedia who has yet to make it to a meetup, perhaps I shouldn't venture a comment, but this sounds great to me. Also, (40 email messages later) I'm wondering why we as wiki habitues would resort to using email to collaboratively organize a lunch meeting? Wasn't there formerly an on-wiki project page for such? If there's some way I can help with that, I hereby volunteer.
