Greetings Program Leaders and Evaluators!

Important updates from Learning and Evaluation:

== Education Program Toolkit [1] ==

On February 26, we launched the first Wikimedia Program guide, the Education Program Toolkit [1]. This new resource was a joint effort of Program Evaluation and Design team, and Wikipedia Education team. The knowledge that we hope to convey with this resource stems from the experience of different program leaders all over the world, capture through Learning Patterns. We invite Education program coordinators to use it, expand it and make it their own in multiple ways!

== New Inspire Grants Campaign to work on Gender Diversity [2]==

The Community department successfully launched a new campaign for Inspire Grants. This effort puts a special emphasis on projects that focus on the gender gap. Grants are accepted until March 31. Find out more on the campaign page on Meta [2]!

Remember you can still give support to the campaign by sharing your experience to bring diversity on Wikimedia! Contribute your knowledge on Let’s Talk Diversity [3]. You can share a problem, a solution or both. You can also start a Learning Pattern that gives a response to any of the problems shared. Contributors will receive one of the new Learning Pattern barnstars. Join the ongoing conversation on the campaign page [3]

== Wikimedia Conference 2015: pre-conference workshops update [4] ==

Our team will be offering special pre conference workshops for Wikimedia Conference 2015. On Wednesday, May 13, we will get together for half a day to talk about data, tracking resources, tools and designing a SMART proposal. On Thursday, May 14, we will host open workshops with different focus:

If you haven’t registered for the conference yet, be sure to sign up! [5] The registration deadline is March

16th. If you are interested in the pre-conference workshops just take the survey [4] to let us know you would like a slot in our pre-conference workshops.

Remember: Wikimedia Foundation is able to cover the additional cost of the 1 or 2 extra nights stay for up to 30 participants to join us on the pre-conference days. Follow our news page on the Evaluation portal to find out more! [4]

== Wikimedia blog survey [6] ===

The Communication Department at Wikimedia Foundation is running a survey to find out more about what readers expect to read on the Wikimedia blog. To share your opinion on how the blog may be enhanced, follow the link to take the survey. Your views matter! Help the team have a more complete grasp of the blog readership:
