Might it be worth adding a commons category to the Monuments database (via the structured lists)? It's probably more relevant than the one image that has been chosen for the image parameter.

I believe a/the bot automatically puts the pictures per city which are now in http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Rijksmonumenten unless there's no ID present.
