Hiya all,
Wiki Loves Monuments is about to end and we just hit 150.000 images. The current Guinness World Record for Largest Photography Competition[1] is set on 126,521 entries from 40,784 participants from 1 October 2008 to 31 January 2009. Wiki Loves Monuments beats this with hopefully 160.000 images, from (most likely) more than 5,000 participants from 18 countries.
Does anyone have the time to figure out the exact details on whether we could apply with Wiki Loves Monuments for a Guinness recognized World Record? It would be great if someone could give them a call and ask about the procedures - so that we can answer press that we are working on getting it recognized.
