On a happier note, I've started work to produce a
World War II Wiki-reader.

I'd just like to gripe that there are no good
instructions anywhere for
actually starting one - I had to ask people on the German Wikipedia for some
help (and I then made the timeline you see on that page).
We do have [[Wikipedia:WikiReader]], which (if nothing else) gives some other
examples of how other people have gone about things. A "How to start a
WikiReader" page would certainly be useful, though.
Volunteers are welcome! Since the other Wiki-reader
projects seem to have
stalled, I'd like to see if we can get this one out the door within the
month (before I go back to grad school).
Well, the project for a WikiReader in Cryptography hasn't stalled (and let me
take this opportunity to plug it!); since the end of last month we've been
running an "Article of the Day" scheme to polish the content. We're taking
a
little longer (planning to release in November) and are including around 70
articles. Project page is here:
