Wikia appears, at first glance, to have shut Uncyclopedia off. I haven't seen any statement, but you can't get there at the moment. -- -george william herbert george.herbert(a)gmail.com

There's a temporary problem with a query from Uncyclopedia causing the rest of Wikia to slow down, so it has been removed from public view until this is fixed. The Uncyc admins do have access to it and are trying to help Wikia's techteam get this sorted out as quickly as possible. You are welcome to join #Uncyc-downtime on freenode for updates. Just for the record, John Q (a Wikia developer) had posted to the Wikia-l mailing list about 5 minutes before George's post explaining the situation (which caused all of Wikia to be down for 90 minutes), but not officially naming the wiki (if they had, there would be so many people trying to see if it *was* down...).
