The 2014 idea was extremely generic, while recent action (completely unrelated from what
the page states) is only about journals, isn’t it?
hmm nope, the aims of the WikiProject – as listed at the top of that page – are still
pretty much the same.
Recent action is definitely not about journals only: it’s about preprints; articles;
conference proceedings, academic conferences and conference series; books; publishers;
provenance of citation data.
Pick a focus and choose an understandable name.
I personally don’t feel the name or scope of the WikiProject is the problem, but other
people on the list can comment. Happy to request a change in name (maybe to align it with
WikiCite) if there’s enough support for this.
more coordination between the two projects is definitely welcome (looking at the books
taskforce from WikiCite attendees)
