Hi Team!
I've just fixed a missing link for Queries page on the Wikidata Query Help
Portal page
<https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:SPARQL_query_service/Wikidata_Query_Help>
(under the green *More experienced*). That Queries page
<https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:SPARQL_query_service/queries> is
part of the Help Portal, but was not mentioned or linked on it!
The problem was that when users use the dropdown HELP button on SPARQL
query service editor they would land on that Wikidata Query Help Portal page
<https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:SPARQL_query_service/Wikidata_Query_Help>
, but the advanced concepts were discussed in subpages, not in the User
Manual <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikidata_Query_Service/User_Manual>,
or Example queries
<https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Wikidata:SPARQL_query_service/queries/examples>,
etc. The missing Queries page
<https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:SPARQL_query_service/queries> is
extremely important in explaining advanced concepts around optionality,
working with dates, coordinates, qualifiers, references, etc. And before
this improvement that page could only be found if searched for, or a user
happened to click the breadcrumb link at top to get back to the Wikidata:SPARQL
query service page
<https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:SPARQL_query_service> and then
would be found as a link under the Learning SPARQL / Help Portal section.
This fix should make it MUCH easier for folks to discover how to work with
these advanced concepts in Wikidata SPARQL query service whenever they
click the HELP button in the SPARQL editor !
