That way Google will eventually note the page has been updated, and
update their records.

If the page is deleted, Google will never get that trigger, and the name
she doesn't like presumably will *never* be updated over on Google.

Therefore Yaroslav I suggest you restore the page.

If this is indeed the case this could be a good reason to restore the page at least temporarily. Why do not we wait for a couple of days and see what happens. (Again, any administrator may restore the page but this likely will have consequences - not from my side).
