Hi Mike,

It looks like there are indeed several projects that still seem to use isBlank()
I used search to try to poke around and see what might still be using "isBlank()"

https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?search=%22isBlank%22&title=Special:Search&profile=advanced&fulltext=1&ns4=1

Like this one that I've just updated:  https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_sum_of_all_paintings/Top_female_creators_by_number_of_collections

Perhaps there could be a way to send notices to those projects?

Hi all!

This is a reminder / retroactive breaking change announcement for the Wikidata Query Service and Wikibase RDF model.

The change was already announced, and we invite you to review that announcement if you haven’t seen it before; but that email was quite a while ago, and we also didn’t send it to all of the usual channels, so we wanted to send this email to ensure everyone is aware of the change.

The most important part: queries that tested for blank nodes using the standard isBlank() SPARQL function must now use wikibase:isSomeValue() instead.

Best regards,
