I've added the article count to the main page. Someone
should probably change the wording. Currently it just
says 95 الصفحة.
The automatically updated count comes from
{{NUMBEROFARTICLES}}.
Only articles with at least one internal link to an
existing article are counted, which is why the press
release did not mention Arabic, as it has very few
pages at this time.
I disagree that "writing a 3 lines article on a heavy
subject is not advisable". Stubs are often better than
nothing. See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:The_perfect_stub_article
on the English Wikipedia.

- Just a note for the maintainers of ar.wiki from a
humble 3 days
old contributor; a live article count would be
really encouraging
to see where we are as far as article count.
- Writing a 3 lines article on a heavy subject is
not advisable. I think
either a writer write something meaningfull or leave
the topic blank.
I tried to explain this to my son who submitted his
first article yesterday
to no avail :)
Kind regards,
