Summary: solve_disambiguation.py: redirects as disambiguation pages
Initial Comment:
The Hungarian Wikipedia is experimenting with a new disambiguation system where primary meanings also have an unambiguous page name, and the base name is a redirect to the primary meaning, tagged with a template to mark it as a disambiguation. (This way, it is always easy to decide whether a link is ambiguous or not; previously, links to the primary had to be reviewed again and again, as there was no way te tell them apart from the not yet reviewed links.)
The attached patch adds a new behavior when the disambiguation page is a redirect containing a special template; the robot will offer the links found on the target page of the redirect as possible disambiguation options, instead of offering the target of the redirect only. Optionally, a disambiguation page page with a name different then "<primary name> (disambiguation page)" can be supplied as an argument to the template
The behavior of the bot is only changed if the template is present.

Dear all,
How do I provide HTTP basic authentication credentials to access a
mediawiki? I found several Python packages such as mechanize that allow
simultaneous cookie-based authentication with HTTP basic authentication, so
I know it's possible, but I'm not sure how I can do this through the
PyWikipediaBot. Thanks for your attention.

*Context:
*
Thanks to the helpful people on this list, I've now got a replace.py bot
which successfully adds wikilinks to key terms. E.g. to wikilink
"sustainability", the command I'm using is (from the CLI, within the
Pywikipediabot directory):
python replace.py -regex "(?s)sustainability(.*$)" "[[sustainability]]\\1"
-xml:currentdump.xml -exceptinsidetag:link -exceptinsidetag:hyperlink
-exceptinsidetag:header -namespace:0 -namespace:4 -namespace:102
This code finds the first occurrence of the term sustainability that is not
wikilinked, and replaces it with [[sustainability]]. (I don't understand the
regex stuff, but I can copy and paste.)
*Question:
*
If the first occurrence of the term sustainability is already wikilinked, it
goes on to wikilink the second occurrence. I actually only want the first
term linked, so I would prefer that it skips the page in this case.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
