Hello!

The Android App has a 'Reading History' feature that is akin to
browsing history on browsers. It lists the pages you have read and
allows you to go back to them in the future. It is stored only on your
device, and not sent anywhere.

There was a 'feature' that cleared out old history items after 30
days. From talking to users this was unexpected and inconsistent with
what they would expect from browsing history. Since there is a clear
all button, they expect the history to stay till they explicitly clear
all of it.

I've prepared a patch https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/133966/ that
strips this feature out and makes it behave more in line with user
expectations. These records don't take up too much space anyway, so it
should have minimal impact.
