Some more information on my problem
After I click a link, the browser title immediately changes, and when
I view the source, I can see the whole source code of the new page
there. But the page still takes a long time after that to display.
It's nothing to do with mod_rewrite btw, I tried to change back to
ugly URL and it doesn't help.

I have just upgraded my site from 1.3.6 to 1.4beta,
and it now become
way slower than before. Page generation time is ok (0.2s), however it
takes around 30 seconds for the page to displayed after it is
downloaded. It is the same slow even if the site is accessed from
localhost. It looks like that it's page rendering that takes most of
the time, or time to download .js and .css files. I tried on both IE
and Firefox and the results are the same, and my computer is a highend
one.
Is there anybody else getting the same problem? And is there any
workaround for it?
