People here study the content on a article then after that do a test in
another environment, which allows trainning code to be recorded in their
professional curriculum.
It would be very useful if the QUIZ extension generate a database that would
be exported to make such record.
Does it sound reasonable?
Does anyone have any idea about how to implement it?
Thanks a lot

All,
We have set up a mediawiki trainning based platform at Banco do Brasil, the
bigger financial company of Latin America and we are very satisfied with
results. We use LDAP and works well. We use also FCKEditor and it proved to
be usefull. Futhermore, we defined by internal rules that the article can
only be edited by anyone who is offering the training and the trainees must
edit your questions and contributions on the talk page. It has worked well.
We have not found yet a way to register people who have some training in
their own environment Mediawiki. In fact, we do it with an external
application.

Hi,
Why not installing mediawiki, especially for an
internal use:
- LDAP auth works fine.
- You can use namespaces to give access (or not) to some populations to
some
parts of your wiki.
- You can use FCKEditor extension if people in your company don't want to
learn mediawiki syntax.
- don't know any other powerful rich editor, I'm used to make my diagrams
with other tools like Dia and to export diagrams into image files to embed
it in my wiki.

I'm trying to convince my company to use
mediawiki for internal use.
But they say that mediawiki user right management is not enough powerful
for us.
We need several levels and several groups of users rights to protect
from read or read/write important documents.
All has to be integrated with LDAP.
Any suggestions?
Any big company that uses in its intranet the mediawiki for this goal?
Also we need a very powerful rich editor that allow to write block
diagrams
...
Thanks.
