Once every five minutes is unlikely to cause any sort of blip on our
radar. However, consider other, better options, such as the live IRC
feeds we provide (
irc.wikimedia.org, and join one of the channels)
which could be filtered for your needs, or use of the Toolservers
(
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Toolserver).
Hm, I need the page text too. Toolserver doesn't seem to provide that.
But if I chop the page requests in small chunks then none will notice...
in the best case.
But of course I'd like to go for that which causes the least annoyance.
