If you're concerned with different spellings, you might consider creating a style
guide. Using a style guide is a good practice anyway.
I'll admit it's a low-tech solution, but if your users do actually use it, then it
really will be more effective than a good spellchecker.
The Wikipedia Manual of Style (

might be a good starting place.

Yes you are right. However, I would really prefer to have a common solution
for all the users. Different users will use different browsers and hence we
might end up having 4 to 5 different spellcheckers being used by the users
which could really mean a lot of support requests.
