The extension I need to install usually marked as obsolete, unmaintained or archived.
Probably it's the reason the version is not updated.
The extension I need:
FCKeditor
SimpleSecurity
CategorySuggest
StubManager
CrudeProtection
Also the extension Group Based Access Control is unstable and unmaintained.
It's recommend to download AccessControl but the download tar file is empty.
Thanks,
Shlomit.

You should install into a 1.19.1 mediawiki the version of the extension
for the 1.19 branch.
An extension made for a different version will generally work, but it
may not.
What extension are you trying to install?

The vector skin collapses all the items on the menu so that means a visitor probably doesn't know there's more stuff hiding in the menus and important links get hidden from view.
How do I make it so the default view expands all items on the menu? I've tried the Vector skin extension and it doesn't work. Anything else I can do?

Little stumped it dies without error, i think I should be looking for 99

The db is 30MB and the 16.5 version runs perfect on my localhost, not a
hitch. Log in, edits, uploads. I tried running the rebuildall script
before the update in 16.5 just to make sure the db was good. Since I
have control of script time, I tried web based update, says it
completes, but the db is showing only 1 page, main page default for a
new installation even though the db now says it is 32MB, but a
rebuildall only sees 1 page.
The dump from the 16.5 wiki was a MySql 4(don't even get me started)
into my MySQL 5 db. Could that be the issue? MyISAM to InnoDB issue?
Thanks

Hi
I'm wondering if there is some way to find the number of arguments
passed to a template. I have goggled it but didn't found anything.
Some extension or a magic keyword?
Thanks in advance,
David
To use transclusion, write like this example, in original wikitext :
<section begin=sectionname /> texte to transclude <section end=sectionname />
In destination wikitexte write like this example :
{{#lst:Template or page name| sectionname}}
see also Parser functions.
In original wikitext, we can use several sections.
Some years ago, I also ask to HTML the *include* way which exists in many languages. They answer "not exists".
This question continue in the web, and all these workarounds show a miss in HTML5.
This way could be usefull :
<include src="url" from="tag.class #id" />
with *src* to any page, internal or external of the site,
and *from* to define which part to include, with the same syntax as jQuery.
