My only concern would be that may leave others feeling pressured to finish
the work they accepted, especially as the list of work diminishes.
Yeah it'd be good to get some kind of notice about work being ready for
review.

I'm happy with that - that would make a maximum of
47 emails (50 images
minus the three already in review) over the period of round one which is
only for a couple of months. Presumably, if you sent out a 'digest' update
every few days, then that would reduce the email traffic even further.
