Hi Rodrigo,

My advice would be, for everyone doing GLAM projects, translate these two brochures to Portguese to have good practises on paper ready to read for your institutions:
-How to work successfully with Wikipedia: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:WMBE-How_to_work_successfully_with_Wikipedia.pdf
-Free Knowledge thanks to Creative Commons Licenses: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:WMBE-Free_Knowledge_thanks_to_Creative_Commons_Licenses.pdf

The second is about why non-comemrcial is problematic and that brochure one can largely be translated here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Free_knowledge_based_on_Creative_Commons_licenses

From both brochures I have the source files available. These both are very inspirational and give the best practises of Wikimedia around the world with the beste examples possible described. (In the first brochure you can modify one page (page 21) to your local needs.)

Hello all,

After some months of discussions and meetings we started this month our first GLAM Project in Brasil.

Finally we added Brazil to the GLAM map [1]. Since it's our first pilot project, we are learning the best way to upload content and organize all info regarding the uploaded files.

Our partner, Immigration Museum of the state of São Paulo[2] is receiving support from Creative Commons Brazil and from our team to adopt CC licenses and publish open content.

That first pilot project[3] will cover a new exhibition that will be launched soon by the museum. During the next months we will discuss regarding massive uploads regarding other exhibitions and internal museum's archives and collections.

Since it's our first project, we will need additional guidance and support. During the last days we received some contradictory information from Commons admins/contributors.

The museum sent created an OTRS ticket to provide info regard the ownership and licenses of the uploaded content and contents that will be added by the museum during the near future[4].

Here[5] you can see the pilot project. All guidance and tips and tricks are welcome ;-)

Best regards
