Do you have some agreed-upon activities already? If not, it would be wise to achieve that before drafting an agreement.

Hi Hassive,

WMF staff also put together a set of guidelines for developing an MOU at: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Partnerships_%26_Resource_Development/Drafting_a_Memorandum_of_Understanding

Though its link in the resources Sandra shared, I would think its the most thorough advice on how to develop one, and what can be included.

Hello Hasive,

You might have found it already as well, but here’s some input on meta.wikimedia.org:

And a sample MoU from the Wiki Education Foundation:

Maybe other people on this list can share MoUs they made with museums specifically?

Good luck on your work with the museum! Very exciting! Sandra

Dear All,

On behalf of Wikimedia Bangladesh, we are trying to start GLAM in Bangladesh with our Bangladesh National Museum. We already talk with the authority and now we planning to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the museum to start GLAM in Bangladesh.

Can anyone help me please to share any format of MoU? Or, is it possible to share few points that we include in MoU?

We need suggestion as WMBD first time try to work with the museum about GLAM.

Thanks in advance.
