for two years now, Wikimedia Deutschland runs the project GLAM on tour (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:GLAM/GLAMonTour), which fosters relationships between GLAM volunteers and cultural heritage institutions. 

On the latest tour station in the city of Brilon, we had a film produced that illustrates how cultural heritage institutions and GLAM volunteers work together on a local level. We wanted to illustrate how cultural cooperations with GLAMs can be started, motivate volunteers to engage in GLAM activities themselves and examplify for cultural institutions, how an editathon or other activities with Wikipedians might look like.
