We have been using ISIL [1] for quite some time on German Wikipedia [2] now.
Any other Wikipedias out there using similar identifiers?

[1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Standard_Identifier_for_Libraries_and_Related_Organizations (although not reflected in the English article, ISIL applies for other institutions like museums and archives as well)
