Saludos!

After the successful GLAM Wiki 2013, there was talk about who would like to host the next one.  Id like to raise the possibility of having it in Mexico, at my campus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITESM_CCM

ITESM CCM has been working on a number of different Wikipedia projects, which include the campus library sponsoring photo contests and donations of photos from the campus archives. In addition, at the education get-together at the Milan meeting, there was discussion of how education and GLAM can, and perhaps should, overlap. It would also be a good idea to have a major GLAM event on the west side of the Atlantic.

I have discussed the possibility with the campus library director, who is quite enthusiastic and have talked to a number of people (students and teachers) already involved with Wikipedia. We have a preliminary user group up and going http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Borregos_CCM_Student_User_Group, that we will solidify come August when everyone is on campus and we can meet face-to-face. We are looking at a date sometime in April.

We have also talked to Wikimedia Mexico, which has preliminary agreed to cooperate with us.

We would like to know if the community likes the idea!
