I thought that was hilarious and I forwarded the link to wikitech-l.
However, it
seems that they have no sense of fun; someone over there said
that wikitech-l is "not a place to hangout with your friends and share dumb
stuff." Talk about of being hostile to volunteers and people who are trying
to foster a positive atmosphere. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be
posting there anymore.

Hashar's response was needlessly grumpy but he may be jet lagged still (he
visited SF from France last week with the other platform/ops people).
More seriously: wikitech-l is a very high traffic list. Maybe even more
than even Wikimedia-l lately. I can understand what might be cute here is
less welcome there.
In any case: we share links on internal team lists at the WMF all the time.
If anyone ever wants to share things here that aren't strictly Wikimedia
related but might inform work on editor engagement, please do so.
