Starting Monday August 3rd, 2015 (a little over a week from now), we will start publicly logging the #wikimedia-collaboration IRC channel. Anything that anyone says in this channel will be visible publicly and forever(*) at http://bots.wmflabs.org/~wm-bot/logs/%23wikimedia-collaboration

A number of people have requested this, but because IRC logging is a controversial subject for some people, Matt and I decided to announce it well in advance. We will also announce this in the channel topic, and once logging is live a link to the log will appear in the channel topic as well.
