Great work Vojtech!

I can relate to the appreciation shown by senior citizens, as my students are primarily in the 40+ age bracket (I work at an evening secondary school for adult and working learners).

Perhaps you would be interested in reading about a paper about Wikipedia editing in an adult setting that I recently co-authored for an Informatics in Education Conference last month. I have written a report here and plan to translate the actual paper from Greek to English at some point (when I find the time!)

Keep up the good work, and keep us posted!

P.S. I'm a big fan of the Prague National Technical Library, what a beautiful building and interior! After returning home from this presentation I wrote the English article (still haven't got round to writing the Greek one...)

Subject: [Wikimedia Education] Senior Citizens Write Wikipedia midpointreport

Hi all

Senior Citizens Write Wikipedia, a Czech program funded by an IEG grant and supported by Wikimedia Czech Republic, has released a midpoint report. A bit too early to discuss the impact of our program (we have just started the courses a month ago) but have fun reading it. We already have about 30 course participants and the number is rising.

Available here:

cheers
