Yes, Asaf, thanks for asking! I was lucky enough to receive a recommendation from one WP:PT admin, for a very experienced editor. He's not a student, though, but it took me a while to find out that this wasn't mandatory. The best thing is that he knows quite well the workings of the WP:PT community, which can be very difficult sometimes. I could teach the editing basics, but this makes the whole difference - I don't think I'd be really successful without his aid.

I wish this list was used more often! I'd love to hear how things are going in India and in the new courses in Canada. If anyone wants to follow what's going on with my course, I've been blogging my project, which can be decently read in English through Google translator: http://wikipedianauniversidade.blogspot.com.

I'm blogging the steps in this initiative, so in the case anyone wants to try your Portuguese or test Google Translator, it's http://wikipedianauniversidade.blogspot.com/ - readership is still low, but I'm confident that the initiative will pay soon. As I've written there, I'm still worried because I have no Campus Ambassador whatsoever - the only guy who seemed interested doesn't reply to my emails. I think I'll have to do that part all by myself.

Welcome, Prof. Bastos!

Have you been able to find an ambassador yet?
